基隆市府為協助受傷民眾及家屬度過最艱難的時刻，林右昌拋磚引玉捐款新台幣5萬元，期盼社會各界能發揮「人溺己溺，人飢己飢」精神共同響應。
市府社會處表示，民眾如欲指定捐助設籍基隆市的4名傷者，可向社會處社會工作及救助科洽詢，電話（02）24201122轉2233或2234，目前社會處已收到1萬元捐款，另有社團7日預計捐款5萬元。
市府表示，有鑑後續治療復健漫漫長路，社會處除建立單一連繫窗口外，新竹英文家教並已指派專責社工員對受傷民眾及家屬進行一對一的關懷服務。
